About a year ago Tess contacted me about her Christmas Eve wedding. It’s definitely a time for family, but her schedule was so flexible and they were so excited about coming here from Seattle to do their wedding, I just had to! And I’m so glad to have been apart of it. It was incredibly romantic how they just wanted to come here for the holiday and get married. I was there a couple of hours and it was one of the highlights of my holiday season.
Driss and Tess had been to the Lodge before and knew it would make for an amazing place to get married. And if you’ve ever been to the Lodge during Christmas, you know their Christmas decor is FANTASTIC. Tess even indulged me a little for some outdoor pictures even though we were getting our White Christmas. She and Driss had most of their immediate family there and planned on a laid back Christmas Day with possibly some skiing before heading back to Seattle on the train.
This was definitely a Christmas Eve to remember. My husband and I made it home in time for a fun filled evening with our family and kiddos before embarking on our annual Christmas Eve tradition of putting all the toys together in true procrastinator style ;)
Make sure you check out Driss and Tess’s fabulous vendor list!
