I’ve been wondering what I would say about this wedding in their blog every since it happened. It’s so hard to put into words what a special day this was. Rheanna and Brian were so special to work with. Every detail was perfect, but it wasn’t even as much about all the details, the dress, the food, the cake, the reception etc. When Rheanna and Brian were together, you could almost see sparks. They were electric! You couldn’t help tilting your head and saying awe every time you looked at them. It was magical.
Rheanna found me through her best friend Tiffany who I met on Craigslist. Ha, yes I said Craigslist. Almost 7 years ago when I was about to have my first child, I met Tiffany online. I was looking for someone to paint letters for his nursery and being the amazingly talented person she is, she did it for me. After that she was involved in my maternity pictures, newborn pictures and my son’s 6-month-old pictures. Tiffany is an amazing girl who obviously only surrounds herself with amazing people. So when Rheanna contacted me as a friend of Tiffany’s, I was super stoked. Not only would I get to photograph an amazing wedding, I would get to see Tiffany as well!
Their wedding ceremony was at this amazing church that was actually the church that was in a River Run’s Through It. Parts were filmed in Livingston. So that was kind of awesome being in the same place that Brad Pitt was once (don’t judge me). Brian owns the Murray Bar in downtown Livingston as well as a couple of restaurants down there making pictures around there a must! The Historic Murray Hotel made for an incredible backdrop as well. I love how diverse Montana is. We can go from the Mountains to historical buildings in the same weekend.
One of the restaurants that Brian owns is the 2nd Street Bistro which naturally served as their dinner spot. Not only was the decor perfect, but the meal was one of the best I’ve ever seen or had. I am hoping that I can somehow bribe them for the soup recipe they served. It was magic on a spoon! We ended the evening across the street at the Livingston Train Depot where the couple was greeted by even more people who loved them. So many smiles and memories passed through our lenses.
Thank you Brian and Rheanna for a truly magical day. And thank you Tiffany for introducing me to this fantastic couple!
