This was a fantastic year for my business and I really had a wonderful time with my couples. I love how after doing more than 100 weddings, I still can find something unique and special out of each and every one I do.
Every year I like to write a special blog to all my wedding couples. The appreciation I have for you guys goes so deep. I’m thankful for being apart of your lives!
Heather and Cameron
I love that you guys knew what you wanted for your wedding and you weren’t afraid to step out of the box. Very few people would choose to get married at night in the snow. It was GORGEOUS. I don’t get to do a lot of techniques that we were able to do with your weddings during the summer which made is super fun for me. You guys were a pleasure to work with and I’m so glad you guys planned the perfect snow wedding! 
Katie and Glen
I’ve never been so thankful for a photographer canceling on a bride. Because if your’s had not, I wouldn’t have gotten to meet you guys and be tremendously blessed by your love story. Thank you for making me laugh so hard I cried Glen about some kind of duck that are terrible for eating. And Katie, just being around you makes me smile. Your ceremony was the first I’ve been to that I actually forgot I was working and not at church. It was beautiful! 
Leah and Frank
Well Leah I think you know by now I am a big McDonald Family fan! Seriously you guys are the most fun and I’m so glad I get to see your mom quite frequently and even your little brother ;) All day I felt like I was at an old family friend’s wedding. You guys just have such huge hearts and the love you and Frank have for each other is contagious. Frank, I’ll NEVER forget the look on your face when you saw Leah for the first time and how you guys literally ran into each other’s arms like a movie. I wish I could photograph your wedding over and over and over again. 
Angela and David
Everything worked out EXACTLY how it was supposed to. Angela, I am so happy you found the perfect person to complete your family. I’m also glad I was there to witness and photograph the engagement although I had NO idea it was going to happen. I’ll never forget David saying “Could you get your camera out?” Me, “sure why?” David, “Just do it.” Then it happened! Such a fun, beautiful day that worked out just the way it was supposed to! Oh and thanks for bringing me a Corvette as a present ;) 
Kelsey and Austin
The best elopement EVER! Seriously who doesn’t dream of just leaving and going to Glacier and getting married? It was the most romantic thing I’ve ever seen and so few people in 50 years will have your wedding story and I love that I got to be apart of it. We got some of my favorite images to date that day and the excitement leading up to that day was even better! Maybe when it’s time to add some babies we can do a baby elopement? ;) 
Brad and Steffi
The thing I love most about your pictures is just how smitten you look with each other. Almost like you just met and immediately knew you were in love. That’s how you look at each other and it also makes for some sweet moments in pictures. Steffi, could you get any sweeter? And Brad, could you be goofier? ;) You guys are the perfect balance for each other and I love how you bring such different things to each other’s lives. We’ve got Brad and MMA fighter marrying Steffi the artist. I love it and love you guys! 
Rhianna and Troy
Um hello beautiful wedding nestled in the Mission Mountains. Seriously you guys couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to get married. Rhianna I am sooooo glad I met your family and was able to be your wedding photographer. You’re drop dead gorgeous and have eyes that most people photoshop. And Troy, your best smiles are definitely when Rhianna is around ;) 
Carrie and Jesse
Your wedding was another one of those that blessed me so much. Just being around you guys and seeing your love for one another and for God made my world brighter. Carrie I love the depth of your soul. You definitely are one of those people who love and care deep for people. Jesse I love the spirit of adventure you bring to the table and how you guys incorporated that into your wedding. I better see you guys again soon with some babies ;) 
Tammy and Junior
I’m still not happy that you didn’t take me to Hawaii on your honeymoon, but I am trying hard to forgive you. It does help that you guys were like working with people I’ve known for years. I’m so glad I get to see you often Tammy and get beautiful hair and nails. And I am sure I don’t need to remind you that Junior sure is head over heels for you. I love your story and how you’ve been together since you were teenagers. I am glad you guys live in Kalispell and I can’t wait to see where life takes you. 
Lindsey and Dustin
Oh you guys are too cute and sweet. You guys have the kind of story that gives people cavities. I knew from the moment I met you guys that your wedding was going to be full of sweet moments and romance. All the little touches you guys had your wedding down to the lemonade stand made for awesome picture opportunities and of course having such a good looking couple helps too ;) 
Nicole and Jed
You’re so sweet Nicole. Seriously you have a heart of gold and I love the little pinch of edginess you have which I know Jed brings out in you even more. Jed, I don’t care what you say, you’re incredibly photogenic and wow how your face changed when you saw Nicole for the first time. And don’t get me started on where you got married. I didn’t know that was my dream location until I got there, but seriously OMG. The place was perfect, you guys are perfect and the day was perfect! 
Megan and Lance
Girly, you know I love you, but I think I fell in love with your dress first ;). I remember our first meeting and you showing me your dress and I could already imagine what the day would look like. The dress was an indicator of an amazing wedding with incredible attention to detail. You were the most laid back bride I’ve ever worked with and that always makes for an enjoyable day for us. I’m so happy that I met you guys and that I get to see you often. I have loved watching your family grow! Lance, I wish you were in town more often because I know Megan sure does adore you! You guys are too cute together and I know there is an awful lot of joy ahead of you!
Caty and Justin
I’ve always heard blondes have more fun, but it’s not true Canadians do. I’ve never been to a Canadian wedding that wasn’t just an all out fun time. You guys are just FUN! I don’t like how I get that pirate song stuck in my head every time I think about you guys, but it always put a smile on my face. I love your passion for life, your family and of course your Roughriders. Caty, you are a good woman for indulging Justin in his football love. I hope that I can do that for my husband one day ;)
Jaclynn and Skyler
My first second shooter ever! Love you Jaclynn! Seriously so glad you found Skyler and you guys love each other so much. Of course it was amazing to be with you all day and share such a beautiful day, but it was also great to be reminded of the spiritual importantness of marriage and God’s design for it. Your ceremony was such a beautiful reminder of that. So bummed you guys are all the way in Kansas City, but I know you are leading the life God mean’t for you to lead even though you’re so far away. Love you guys and thanks for the fun day with amazing picture opportunities! 
Mary and Nick
Perfect, perfect, perfect! Every last detail was perfect and the cake cutting couldn’t have been more unique. Thank you guys for letting me try some new fun poses and for allowing a videographer to follow us around and film as well for my promo video. I hope that life is awesome in Florida! I get kind of jealous when it’s in the single digits here, but I won’t hold that against you ;)
Meegan and Bill
Such a fairytale wedding. I am not sure why I got that vibe other than how Bill treats you like his princess Meegan. I love how secure and safe you look in his arms and how you make him smile. I cannot lie though, seeing 20 teenage girls singing Justin Beiber songs was kind of disturbing, but it make the night even more memorable ;) I love how you guys love so much of the same things and it’s obvious how much you have fun together. It reminds me to have more fun with my husband :) 
Kaedy and Scot
I certainly ended this year with a bang! I’m so glad it worked out that I could do your wedding. I can’t imagine a better last wedding of the season. Again, you guys are two of the sweetest people and we had a blast with you ALL day long! Not to mention we had a blast staying there at the Hot Springs! Thank you for a wonderful end of the season and for being so darn cute! 
2014 has some awfully large shoes to fill!
