I am so excited to share Jason and Shruti’s wedding.
I had never met the bride and only met Jason once, but my fabulous planner friend Tanya Gersh contacted me about doing their wedding and I couldn’t have been more excited. Jason is a very very special person to Tanya. He’s worked with her for years in the wedding industry planning hundreds of couple’s weddings and now it was Jason’s turn. You can tell that Tanya had her heart, soul and love into every detail of this making for such a special day for Jason and Shruti.
These guys met while storm chasing, so you can only imagine the stories they share together and I love that Jason flew 3o something hours just to surprise Shruti for a party she was having across the globe. Just from the small amount of time I got to spend with them that Shruti’s compassion and drive to change the world and Jason’s sense of adventure and quiet yet passionate spirit is going to make for an exciting life together. I imagine they will spend a lot more time exploring the world together and now they do it as husband and wife.
The culture of this wedding was amazing. Kansas met Montana met England met India. If you know my love of culture, you know how exciting this was for me. And coupled with the ability to photograph it all made for one exciting Sunday. You guys were amazing to work with and I loved every detail of your wedding!
